Random Referrals

Some of you have expressed concern over the fact that new users can sign up unreferred. Well, not anymore. Effective immediately, any new user that signs up unreferred will automatically be assigned to an existing member. What determines who gets this new member? There are 3 qualifications that have to be meet before we pick an account to assign the new member to:

You have to have been a member for more than 30 days.
You have to have been online in the last hour.
You can only receive 1 random referral per day.

The system will randomly pull a userID from all accounts that meet these 3 requirements and assign the new member to your level 1.

Things you need to know:

All assignments are random, you may never get a random referral.
These assigned members may be studs or duds. They may refer 100s of people, or they may delete their account in 10 minutes. Either way, we will not assign you a different referral.
You will receive a message when you receive one of these random referrals.
The more you're online, the better your chances are to get a random referral.

October's RSR and Earnings

The October RSR and earnings reports have been generated. Just go to your control panel, and click the earnings icon (the moneybag) to see your earnings.

OCTOBER RSR = $0.35

The RSR is a lot lower than we would like, but advertising was bad last month. This month looks much better, so far. Keep in mind that internet advertising has peaks and valleys, so our RSR will always fluctuate some.

FYI:
1. You have to have a minimum of $25 before you can get paid.
2. We pay net 60 which means any earnings for October will be paid around January 1. (Yuwie have to collect from advertisers before we can pay you)
3. If you didn't earn enough to get a check this month, your earnings will be rolled into next month.

August Payments Sent

All August payments have been sent. If you chose to receive your check by mail, you should receive it in 3-5 business days. If you chose Paypal, the money is in your account now.

If you earned above the minimum, but didn't get paid, its because you didn't fill out either your payment information, or your tax information. If this happened to you, be sure to fill out your information before next month so Yuwie can pay you.

Yuwie Referral Link Changed

Yuwie 've made a few changed to the referral links, and the sign up link on your profile.

1.Yuwie've added a more friendly referral URL. As of now, you can refer friends by sending them this link:

http://r.yuwie.com/YOUR URL

All old links will still work, and will still be used in the invite form. But hopefully this new, shorter link will allow you to email, or tell friends with less likelihood of them mistyping it. To get your referral link, just look under the icons in your control panel.

2. If someone is on your profile, and clicks the sign up link,you will get credit for that referral. Assuming, of course, they haven't clicked someone else's link already.

Yuwie had a pretty good month. Yuwie is getting a lot of new members every day and its only going to grow from here. Remember, Yuwie is not a get rich quick website. Stick with it, refer your friends, and use the site for what its made for (social networking) and you'll earn your check.

There are some competitors that have sprung up this month. Feel free to check them out, but watch out for the ones that ask for membership fees. Some of them offer free services, but to really make money, you have to pay a monthly fee, so be sure to read the fine print. If you have to pay to earn, its probably a scam!

How Much Money Yuwie Pays You?

Yuwie uses what is called RSR or Revenue Sharing Rate to show how much each member will make off of their web clicks, blog updates, picture uploads, comments, etc.

On the 15th of each month Yuwie will sit down and decide how much each upload, blog entry, click is worth based on how much advertising money they made the month before. That amount is called the RSR - the rate at which they will share their revenue generated.

The example they gave in the introduction was .50cents. That means that you "could" make .50 for each picture upload, comment you make on blogs, pictures, etc. if .50 is the RSR that they pick.

So on September 15, they will decide what RSR to give for the month of August. That is why it is hard to tell right now what you will make, but as popular as this site is Quickly becoming, it is going to be worth it.

What is Yuwie Page Views?

When anyone views any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view for you:

1. your profile page
2. your blog pages
3. view all your friends
4. view all your comments
5. your picture pages
6. if someone views one of your shared layouts

When you view any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view.

1. any of your control panel pages, including but not limited to: settings, messaging, friends, referrals, favorites, etc.

The following does not count as a page view:

1. Refreshing/reloading a page
2. Any page that’s viewed within 3 seconds of the last page doesn’t count

Nobody got rich this month, but we consider the first month of Yuwie a HUGE success. (Honestly we expected the first month's RSR to be much lower.) Stick with it and watch those page views climb. With a few active referrals, in a few months, you'll be earning some substantial checks.

We can't say exactly, but here's an example of what could happen. The chart below assumes you refer 3 people, and those 3 people refer 3, then those refer 3, through 10 levels, and each referral gets 1000 page views for the month, and the month's RSR is $0.50.
